The Fall River Valley water system is like a mini delta, which has plenty of water year round, as it is one of the largest spring fed aqua systems in the world and host to incredible wild trout and other wild fish. We have two boats that are available for both lake and river fishing throughout the year. If Fishing is not your thing, then come along for a fantastic boat ride , bring your camera , as you will see some amazing views of Mount Shasta and Mount Lassen. Just on the north west side of Big Lake is Ahjumawi Lava Springs State Park, which is only accessible by boat , offers easy walking trails, plenty of sites to see. There are over 100 species of birds reside in the Fall River Valley, including. Golden and Bald eagles, red tailed hawks, and Osprey. A Typical tour includes Launching at Big Lake, fishing Ahjumawi Springs, Tule River, Eastman Lake, and the Fall River. Average trip is 6 hours, so pack a lunch, something to drink, and sun block.
You won't have to worry about not being prepared. As your fishing guide, we have plenty of spinning rods and the lures to catch wild trout and other awesome fish, Please note, we do not furnish fly rods, so if you fly fish, bring your own fly rod. I will furnish leaders and the right flies for the conditions. In order to sustain, and keep this world-renowned fishery in its pristine condition, we practice catch and release all year. Quick picture and quick release ensures this, thanks for your understanding.
